CPropPotatOS

The work is inspired by the computer game “PORTAL”. It is part of a group of four plastics representing the state of the main computer expressed through the programming codes used in the game. This plastic shape is named after the main computer from “Portal 1”, which is present in “Portal 2”, defeated and powered by a potato battery. The bullet located in the eye of this sculpture represents the former antagonist’s attempt at reconciliation, of seeing eye to eye with the player. The speaker is her way of communicating with the character. The transformation that occurred in this computer led to it collaborating with the human species in order to achieve equilibrium. Or has it?

This sculpture was created for joined exhibition together with art “Group 9”, Echo INDUSTRIAL 5.0 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
